The two top editors of popular Politico.com -- and former Washington Post reporters -- admit the "horse race" coverage of the current campaign has gotten totally out of hand, in the wake of New Hampshire. They use terms like "whoops" and "D'oh" and so on. Rather than summarize, here is the link. And below that, Exhibit A, from "The Daily Show" rewind of Chris Matthews on primary night making his "Lawrence of Arabia" analogy -- with Keith Olbermann looking dumbfounded. Jon Stewart could only comment, referring to Matthews (we think): "That guy is insane."
