Bill Moyers speaks today to the Media Reform conference

In Minneapolis. Here is most of it.

Fine address on Media Reform, to be sure. Moyers touches all the strings, even the heart-strings, experienced speaker that he is. However, I'll refer you to Professor Thomas Naylor of 2nd Vermont Republic secessionist renown. His dictum is that the United States is "unfixable". Moyers strikes me as a good doctor diagnosing cancer of the liver on a patient who is dying of old age and neglect. Or a passenger who is
criticizing the second-rate orchestra on the Titanic ten minutes after the ship scraped the iceberg.
