On TV yesterday, David Brooks called Sarah Palin "a joke." As I chronicled last year at Huff Post, he believed the same things during the 2008 campaign -- and at a panel discussion leaked to press he said flatly she was unqualified to be president of vice president -- but refused to say that in a print column or on the air. It was a profile in cowardice. Here my new Huff Post piece on it. He never did come clean. Video from yesterday:
