Sonata Small Thing

Major piece coming Sunday from Wash Post's classical music critic (who replaced my friend Tim Page) on Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas, oft described as one of the two summits of Western music (the other being his late string quartets). And here is one of great moments in one of the greatest, the "Hammerklavier," here with Alfred Brendel.
