Update on Obama and Hiroshima

We noted a few days ago that Obama had declared that while he would not visit the atomic cities on his current visit to Japan he hoped to do so during his presidency -- no sitting prez has ever done that.  Now the Wash Post follows up with a longer piece, and the pressures on Obama as new Nobel Peace Prize winner.  Most past winners have indeed visited. Note:  I spent a month in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1984.  UPDATE:  Today in Tokyo, Obama said he would be "honored" to visit the atomic cities--some day.
