UPDATE Todd Akin (not his empty chair) just answered the prayers of Democrats everywhere and seemed to announce --on Mike Huckabee's show, natch--that he is staying in the race as 5 pm deadine approaches. Earlier today: Ad just up, Todd Akin in Missouri asking for "forgiveness." Does not renounce view on no abortion in case of rape but at least says rape CAN lead to pregnancy...
