Doesn't get much wackier than this. Fort-Worth Star Telegram IDed female reporter Yang Wang as "Yank Wang" and at the top of front page of a section. To make it worse, she is reporter from another paper whose work they share. Correction by paper does not mention what mistake was: "Yang Wang is a staff writer for the Houston Chronicle. Her name was misspelled Monday in the byline of an article about overtime paid to state employees." And see Romenesko for another great typo today: suffice to say it changes "smuggling" to "snuggling."
