As one of the world's biggest Hank Williams fans, I can only refer to his son as "Bocephus" or "Nut Sack" so as to not damage Daddy's name. He's at it again today, at the Iowa State Fair, claiming that Obama hates America and is our first "Muslim President." Yes, at this late date: "We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!”
So, as a partial antidote, here's the tree from which this bad apple fell far from. First, amazing duet, recently discovered, where Hank joins Anita Carter, after being introduced by June Carter. Below that, meet the first rock and roller (even with knee-bending and all).

Thank you for this little piece of history. You've made me not feel so bad about my own guilty pleasure of Western Swing, and for knowing who all the people in this clip are and what happened to them.
Maybe someone in the media should ask "Bocephus" why, if Obama is supposed to be a Muslim, is he always drinking beer in public?
