Joshua Not Fit for Battle
probes the controversy over The Guardian hiring a rightwing commentator, Joshua Trevino, and then axing him within days. They also hired Glenn Greenwald, who is still going strong. Greenwald and others had warned The Guardian about Trevino, but they ignored. Of course, scratch a wingnut pundit and past comments approving of violence or racism, or lack of journalism ethics, often burst out. Greenwald, meanwhile, says he has been given full editorial control of his online postings.
