No 'Rage' For GOP But They Have the South

We've covered this week another band demanding that Romney quit using its music at rallies--and Tom Morello ripping Paul Ryan for liking his old band but ignoring the Rage Against the Machine lyrics.  Now comes word that the GOP has lined up two (crappy) acts for its convention: the always annoying Kid Rock and the over-the-hill Lynyrd Skynrd.   Says the latter's Johnny van Zant: “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve heard the president go we’re asking the rich to take a little bit more in taxes. Well, that’s not asking, that’s telling. I still believe in the trickle-down effect.
