Turns out the new veep candidate not only used language much like Todd Akin but even sponsored law that used his phrase "forcible rape." Now he says "rape is rape." See the clip from KDKA when he is pushed on the issue. Also Ryan outright lied in same interview about 16 Democrats joining him in his "forcible rape" vote--most only joined in after that language was dropped. It's a joke to call it "bi-partisan" anyway since all GOPers voted for it and virtually no Dems.
