Ryan: Savvy But Not 'Very Smart'?
Today I am challenging media to back up universal claim that Paul Ryan is "very smart." I am not saying at all that he is "dumb." And there are many "very smart" right-wingers. But is he one of them? Where is the evidence in his education or in his achievements (which are solely in politics)? Is he just "very smart' compared to increasingly dumb colleagues? Or because he has read most of Ayn Rand (as if that takes a big brain?) That is not enough.
