Shooting of Gunman in NYC on Video

The much-discussed surveillance video of dramatic shooting of gunman, who had just killed former co-worker, on NYC street today,  has emerged.  It seems to back police claim that he did draw gun from bag, though he apparently did not fire (nine bystanders hit by police).  It's also a wonder that so many shots from the cops went wild given the very close range.  My full day of coverage here.  You may need Adobe Flash to view below or go here for larger image.  UPDATE Police, after offering misleading info for a full day, finally admitted that all of the bystanders were injured by police bullets.  NYT covers gently.
