Capturing Osama

It's clear from the hints that tonight's "The Newsroom" on HBO revolves around the killing of Osama bin Laden last May.  Let's hope Sorkin doensn't have any of his young female characters faint.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited first trailer for Kathryn Bigelow's already controversial blockbuster about the raid that killed Osama  will get its debut tomorrow, we've just learned, via the Entertainment Weekly site.  About all that has leaked out about the film is that the studio belayed it from October to later in the year after conservatives protested that it might boost Obama's chances in the November election.  Here's a video that collects the shooting of a small part of the film--in India, since doing it in super-sensitive Pakistan was not possible.  It stars Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain, and Kyle Chandler, among others.
