'Whitey on the Moon'

I posted a number of rock song tributes for Neil Armstrong yesterday (plus the "Moonlight Sonata" today) so here's a more jaundiced look--one of the few recordings by a major artist that is directly about the moon landing.  It's the great Gil Scott-Heron and his "Whitey on the Moon" from his famous The Revolution Will Not Be Televised early album.    A few years, before his sad decline, Gil was writing for me at Crawdaddy.   (h/t Ted McClelland)
