Sugar Sugar

Saw terrific doc today, Searching for Sugar Man, something of a hit, as you may know, about early 1970s singer-songwriter Rodriguez who flopped, only to be re-discovered in South Africa--even playing a role in anti-apartheid movement, although he knew nothing about it, until two music folks tracked him down in 1998.  His only two albums came out while I was starting as #2 editor at Crawdaddy so I am nervously soon to check to see if we trashed him then or not.   Here's his recent appearance on Letterman.
