Jonathan Demme has a new documentary that chronicles five years in the life of New Orleans battler for survival, titled I'm Carolyn Parker. He's worked on it for over five years, trekking to NOLA to catch up with her every few years. Since Jonathan lives in my town I saw some of the footage years ago at a local screening. Now it's finished, will hit theaters and then get shown on PBS in the autumn. Here's a bit of it:
