Most unusual, some would say, desperate attempt to explain Obama's slacker performance last night came from an expert witness, former VP and near-President Al Gore. He pointed out Obama arrived in Denver just hours before the debate and did not have time to adjust to the high altitude. Romney had been prepping there for two days. Not as wacky as it sounds, but still...Maybe he had some bad shellfish for dinner?
