Families of Victims of Aurora Shooting Petition Jim Lehrer

Very welcome attempt by families of eight victims of the "Dark Knight" massacre to ask Jim Lehrer, host of this week's presidential debate (a role he has fumbled in the past) to probe the two candidates on their views on gun control--especially since the debate is taking place in Colorado, where Columbine shootings also took place.  Of course, Obama has said and done little on this issue and Romney just talks up guns, while Ryan buys hunting gear for his daughter, age ten.  The letter to Lehrer says not asking this question "would not only be noticeable by its absence but would slight the memories of our loved ones killed."
