Nate Silver With Jon Stewart

Just a few days after surviving a sitdown with Colbert, Nate Silver visited Jon Stewart just now (see segment below).  Nate admits he blew one race--the North Dakota Senate race.  Jon says he feared that if results went differently yesterday it "would be a defeat for arithmetic," and "gravity would be up for grabs."  Silver: Those who predicted Romney wins in many swing states "not in touch with reality."

Jon asks if the Electoral College ended how would be different?  Nate replies, could hurt Dems, not help, because they tend to win bunch of states by slim margins.  Silver also says Repubs should be scared that Cubans in Florida turning more to Dems.  But Republicans "might get their acts together in four years."  Jon says he is being too humble, he should be standing up now and screaming I AM NATE  SILVER, LORD AND GOD OF THE ALGORITHM.  Then Jon invites him back--to talk baseball.

Note:  The first e-book on Obama-Romney race has just been published--and it's mine!  "Tricks, Lies and Videotape" covers the contest right up to Election Night.  Just $2.99.  Enjoy.
