How 'NYT' Piece Inspired Tonight's 'Homeland'
Wild and improbable as a certain plot device in tonight's Homeland might have seemed--and with this once-gripping series, who is counting anymore--it seems like its source, as the Russian ambassador in Dr. Strangelove might have put it, was the New York Times. In 2008. And at least that's what the P.R. folks at Showtime told us tonight. Not to give too much away: but it seems hackers can turn off your pacemaker, if you are unlucky enough to have one.
