I am far from an expert on -- in fact, not even really conversant with -- the U.S. case against the late Aaron Swartz. But there is some intereting speculation today about how this all ties in with his interest in the Bradley Manning case. The WikiLeaks twitter feed today even suggested he had been in contact with Julian Assange, and was a WikiLeaks source--though this is very vague and far from proven.
Anyway, here is Marcy Wheeler's take, which notes the coincidence of more fed interest with Swartz after he filed FOIAs on Manning.
