Judge Makes Key Rulings on Steubenville Case

The judge who will be presiding over the trial of two football players in the Steubenville rape case made three key rulings today.  He ruled against the defense attorneys' request to have the trial moved elsewhere due to alleged witness "intimidation."  He declared that it would be open to the media, not closed, as both sides requested.  And he postponed the trial about a month, to March 13.   There will be no jury.  The Atlantic reviews.
