L.A. Cop Killer's Violent Message for Anderson Cooper

UPDATE  Dorner's truck just found--burned out--in Big Bear area.  No sign of him.

Earlier:  Anderson Cooper just tweeted:  "Learned today suspect Christopher Dorner sent me a parcel at CNN. Inside was a note, DVD, and a coin shot thru with bullet holes."  This refers to the ex-LAPD cop now the subject of one of California's largest manhunts ever--after he killed two last weekend, and killed a cop today (and threatens to kill many more).   I covered it all here, including quotes from his manifesto, in which he names many prominent media figures--even Tim Tebow--often with praise.

The DVD is labeled "exoneration." Dorner told Cooper, "I never lied." Cooper will cover it all at 8 p.m. on CNN.  The network covering to the hilt already.  Just ran bunch of photos from his Facebook page including photos of a "Dorner" tombstone and Snoop Dogg with Martha Stewart.  Also: that shot-up coin was a souvenir from former L.A. police chief Benjamin Bratton.

Why Cooper? Seems a little odd based on his message in the manifesto, which amounted only to this: "Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Pat Harvey, Brian Williams, Soledad Obrien, Wolf Blitzer, Meredith Viera, Tavis Smiley, and Anderson Cooper, keep up the great work and follow Cronkite's lead. I hold many of you in the same regard as Tom Brokaw and the late Peter Jennings. Cooper, stop nagging and berating your guest, they're your (guest). Mr. Scarborough, we met at McGuire’s pub in P-cola in 2002 when I was stationed there. It was an honor conversing with you about politics, family, and life."
