I love Leonard Cohen. I can't believe I just discovered him last year. I'm 68 y/o and listened to all the music that was popular when I was young, starting with Elvis Presley when I was just 11.
Why was Leonard Cohen never popular in the US? I don't understand how his genius wasn't appreciated here. His best songs were written in the 60s and 70s and sound new.
I've managed to get most of his poetry, just missing Parasites of Heaven, both his novels and almost all his CDs. Wish there was more concert footage from when he was young.
