In my long-running weekly feature: Kerry Candaele produced a tribute to Beethoven's Ninth in Santa Monica awhile back, and filmed it for possible use in his great upcoming doc, Following the Ninth (see our book on same). Among the highlights: Billy Bragg singing his new version of the "Ode to Joy" (which is in the finished film) and this piano version of part of the Ninth Symphony (which is not). Here's both:
