Rare footage of 1919 World Series found--watch the "Black Sox" throw it (especially Eddie Cicotte). Cool atmospheric stuff. Comiskey Park and Crosley Field (then known as Redland). Note no benches in Cincy and players leaving gloves on field when inning over. Incredible "electronic" scoreboard in New Yorker where fans (gamblers) could follow action--like watching Internet game play today. And so on. (If you enjoy this you'd probably love this gallery of my olde baseball cards, going back to 1880s.)

That New York scoreboard is amazing. It's like watching "Gameday" coverage online.
