Anywhere else, Cape Cod has been run for decades as a typical tourist destination with chain motels and hotels, chain restaurants (many national chains and a few Massachusetts chains like Friendly's while it flourished). A friend of mine with a family home there invited me and a few others to her house, so we could use her pahking sticker, but we had to be there early because the lots filled up well before noon.
