...Fundamentally, the Iraq war was ONE war, not two.<br />Between the "end" of the 1991 war until Bush II re-invaded in '03 IRAQ WAS A WAR WITH USA AND UK.<br />Daily, Iraqi gunners fired missels & bullets at patrolling aircraft...from 1990s onward. The Bush II Iraq portion was to finish up what should have been accomplished in 1991. Saddam should have been gone in 1991; it wasn't done right the first time, so we had to go back and finish it up.
