Here is one key quote from the Facebook posting: "Ok, so, this is total crap, we sit the kids down to watch 'The Charlie Brown Christmas Special' and our muslim president is there, what a load.....try to convince me that wasn't done on purpose. Ask the man if he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will give you a 10 minute disertation (sic) about it....when the answer should simply be 'yes'...."
He also attacked the president's supporters, saying they should move to a Muslim country, then corrected himself to suggest that the USA was a Muslim country. He later downplayed the posting when contacted Thursday by the newspaper for comment, saying they were "trying to make a mountain out of a molehill." Arlington is a city of about 7,600 residents about 25 miles northeast of Memphis.

Wiseman, indeed...
What's really astonishing is the Commercial Appeal online poll.
The people saying "Yes" to that poll are correct; Mayor Yahoo does speak for a lot of Americans.
Polls of Republicans show that a plurality say they don't believe the president was born in the United States, and a big majority of them either don't believe it, or say they don't know where he was born.
This used to be the party that nominated Eisenhower.
I don't know when you took the poll, but when I just took it the results were: 51% (3295 votes) found his comments inappropriate and embarrassing, 40% (2611) thought that the Mayor speaks for a lot of Americans who are frustrated with the President, while 7% (501) said that although they don’t agree with him, he can say what he wants on his Facebook page. 40% still high, but it's better than 52%
the biggest question should be why does he have to believe that jesus christ is the son of god in order to be president.
Nice post!! thanks for sharing!!
