Finishing the fine new Leonard Cohen bio, "I'm Not Your," and continuing my daily vids and comments here coinciding with Leonard's life. So tonight here, let's visit (as I did in NYC) his recent/current tour, at age 76 to 78. still doing three hour shows (listen up, Bruce)--"stubborn as those garbage bags that time cannot decay." Here's his great message song, "Democracy." Always loved, "From the homicidal bitchin/that goes downon in every kitchen/to determine who will serve / and who will eat." Below, from a few years but still performed today, what some consider his greatest song, "Anthem." And still: killers in high places say their prayers out loud.
