Depp Booking Dylan
Johnny Depp is getting his own book imprint--and launching with a book by/about Bob Dylan, prepared by Doug Brinkley. It will "unravel tales" or myths of Dylan's career. Depp will also be publishing that book that came to light a few months back, a surprise novel by Woody Guthrie (one of Depp's heroes) that Brinkley is also shepherding. "I pledge, on behalf of Infinitum Nihil,
that we will do our best to deliver publications worthy of peoples'
time, of peoples' concern, publications that might ordinarily never have
breached the parapet," Depp said in a statement. The imprint is at Rupert Murdoch's HarperCollins.
