And Now 'Zero Dark Thirty'--The Tweet Controversy

More criticism of the folks behind 'ZDT' today after a tweet appeared from their official @ZeroDarkThirty feed that seemed to endorse drone strikes abroad--in directing folks to a certain military site.

 Critics quickly weighed in. Example:  Zero Dark Thirty's Twitter account is promoting drone warfare and you tell me "It's just a movie, stop being critical!" And this:  Well, now that @ZeroDarkThirty has begun advocating drone warfare, those torture-glorification critiques are sounding a bit more resonant.

So maybe, as Bigelow says, "depiction does not equal endorsement"--but does endorsement equal endorsement?  See my latest critique of Bigelow and the film here.
