Welcome!

I will be launching this blog soon, to promote dialogue and discussion, in advance of the March 2008 publication of my book, "So Wrong for So Long: How the Press, the Pundits -- and the President -- Failed on Iraq." Thanks for visiting.

Do you cover the Jessica Lynch story in your book? Do you explore why there seems to be little investigation into the WHY of the forged documents that led to the 16 words? Do you look at those forged documents found so conveniently in bombed out ruins in Iraq? Do you talk about the gazillion Americans who knew, despite the media and government sending the opposite message, that the march to war was without foundation? Looking forward to the book.

Thanks for your note. There's some treatment of the Jessica Lynch propaganda story but much more on the Pat Tillman fakery. Yes, the contrast between the average citizen's fairly quick recognition that the war was a disaster, and the much slower reaction from the media, is a central theme of the book. But don't forget that large numbers of Americans STILL believe that Saddam had something to do with 9/11. Why is that exactly?

Why is that? Simple. They're not reading enough Greg Mitchell.

I have a theory that people are genetically predisposed to believe or not believe whatever the WH feeds them. Whether what they're believing is true depends on the administration.

Your soon-to-be-published book is aptly titled insofaras you are SO WRONG! While the press and many of the pundits failed, the president did not. And I'm willing to bet you voted for a Democrat in 2004. Shame on you and your fellow leftwingers in the media for your liberal bias! Without your "help" in conjunction with Al-Jazeera, we may have ended things in Iraq by now. Thanks for nothing!

Well, well I am very much interested to hear what someone like yourself has to say about what bloggers have deemed the "Media-Military-Industrial complex."

How do I get an autographed copy?
