Mitt catches curveball?
If you haven't heard, the popular political site Daily Kos is the center of an effort to get Democrats in Michigan (where their party's primary is invalid) to vote for Mitt Romney on the GOP side, just to scramble that race more and promote the man some see as the easiest Republican to beat in November. According to Kos himself tonight, Fox News has observed that "it's a classic dirty trick, but perfectly legal," while adding that "Machiavellian political ploys of this sort rarely work." Apparently it has reached such a level that the two candidates were asked about it by CNN, and Romney's people said he wanted Republican votes -- while Huckabee said he'd welcome Democrats.
