An article over at E&P about Johnny Rivers appearing at an upcoming newspaper publishers/editors bash reminded me that "Secret Agent Man" is one of my alltime favorite rock singles (though I wasn't a big fan of the TV spy show). Here's a video of Rivers doing it 40 years ago -- after being introduced by Judy Garland:

You might try the show again, I remember enjoying it when they were running it late nights in the 1980s.
