More bad news for Hillary: The New York Times reports that former civil rights leader Rep. John Lewis is abandoning her for Obama. “In recent days, there is a sense of movement and a sense of spirit,” said Lewis, a Georgia Democrat who endorsed Clinton last fall. “Something is happening in America and people are prepared and ready to make that great leap.” Well, at least Hillary was declared winner in the delayed count from New Mexico -- does that count as stopping Obama's momentum? Also, a Lewis spokesman now disputes the Times story, telling The Washington Post that actually his vote is now in play, not switched to Obama.
Slate had some fun with Obama today. You remember "Bushifying." Now Slate has launched its "Obamaficator," a word generator which "Obamifies" words and gives definitions. There's "Obamaton" and dozens more. Here are a few samples:
-- Barackismo: A strong or exaggerated sense of Obamliness
-- Obamatose: in a deep slumber, dreaming of Obama
-- Barackcupied: fixed on Barack Obama
-- Obambination: the union of warring parties brought together by Obama
-- Obamaly: A deviation from deep, unwavering love for Barack Obama
-- Obamaraderie: Goodwill and lighthearted rapport at a campaign rally
