My Photo of the Day: Burano, Italy
An autumn day on the island off Venice, one of world's great spots. One theory on why the houses are painted so brightly: so that sailors, when they finally got back, usually in a drunken state, could find the right house as they stumbled home. Click for larger view and/or get to my Flickr feed.
