Talk of Killing Obama Circulated One Year Ago

The latest on good Christian wingers seemingly calling for Obama's death by citing Psalms on bumper stickers and t-shirts (see post below) made me go back exactly one year to the chilling threats along these lines that my magazine, Editor & Publisher, helped bring to light. I wrote a column detailing some of it -- please go back red-- but beyond the "lynching" incidents, most chilling were the many incidents of school kids chatting about "assassinating" Obama. They could have only heard that talk at home. One can only imagine that it continues today.
