Cruz Out of Control

Even as her newspaper, on the front page of its web site, touts the GOP's new shoo-in for the U.S. Senate in Texas as the coming "intelllectual" leader of the Tea Party in D.C., Gail Collins in her NYT column for tomorrow reminds us that all things are relative--that is, Ted Cruz has plenty of nutty ideas himself.  Just scratching the surface we have his warning about a George Soros/UN plot to abolish golf course and other greenery in the U.S.   He wants to abolish the IRS, of course, and probably HBO's "Newsroom" and any upcoming Oliver Stone movie.  I'll have more on this all tomorrow.
