Yes, the big day is nearly at hand--that is, August 10--and the release of The Campaign, the satire starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as candidates taking advantage (or being manipulated) by big funders and PAC men. Well, the Koch brothers (played as the "Motch" brothers by Dan Ackroyd and John Lithgow) through a spokesman are already expressing disapproval. Referring to Zach, he says, "it’s laughable to take political guidance or moral instruction from a guy who makes obscene gestures with a monkey on a bus in Bangkok…We disagree with his uninformed characterization of Koch and our beliefs. His comments, which appear to be based on false attacks made by our political opponents, demonstrate a lack of understanding of our longstanding support of individual freedom, freedom of expression, and constitutional rights."
