And we're not referring to David Byrne and Tina Weymouth.  Tomorrow's Maureen Dowd column, not yet on NYT site, probes (or exposes, if you will) Obama's at times "perverse" lack of engagement with, and gratitude to,  top donors, friendly politicians, entertainers who perform benefits, and others who help him (all unnamed)--his ability to act disaffected, above it all,  while seeming very engaged--and, in fact, with cool/hot competitive spirit to win.  Quotes authors of books on him.  Could be overdrawn, but mouths will be yapping all day.  Dowd writes at least one such column per campaign cycle.
