NYT looks at Paul Ryan's daily attempt to hit Obama with the old "are you better off today than four years ago" query. The Dems have been hitting back at it, much as the GOPers have embraced the challenge on Medicare. The Dems are showing the many ways things have gotten at least a little better since Bush left office, or if they got worse for a bit, have gotten better in the past two years for many.
Anyway: We may have to run a daily There Goes Lyin' Ryan feature--and if you don't get the title, it comes from Paul Simon's classic early-'70s lp, There Goes Rhymin' Simon. But the Times today seems content with just charging Ryan with cherry-pickin'. But stay tuned.
