A Darwin WIn Situation?
Wild happenings in Georgia, as an unlikely group of libs and conservatives join forces to mount ballot protest against rightwing GOP congressman--monkeying around by pushing write-in votes for an obscure fellow named Charles Darwin. I'll let you read the full report by David Ferguson, but the congressman, of course, is Paul Broun, who famously said, “God’s word is true. I’ve come to understand that. All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell. And it’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who are taught that from understanding that they need a savior.”
