Saturday updates on the Petraeus Affair affair. See my updates from late last night. And this item today.
--New NYT story confirms that probe set off by harassing Broadwell emails to THIRD party. Another rival for his affections?
"The person who complained about harassing messages from Ms. Broadwell,
according to the official, was not a family member or a government
official. One Congressional official who was briefed on the matter on
Friday said senior intelligence officials had explained that the F.B.I.
investigation 'started with two women.'”
Now Wash Post confirms the above. The other "other woman" was scared. "The law enforcement officials said the e-mails indicated that Broadwell
perceived the other woman as a threat to her relationship with Petraeus."
--Back in May, Laura Rozen revealed Petraeus's special requirements when he traveled (which did not include girl-in-room-service): fresh not canned pineapple, bananas for his cereal, wine glasses in room, all doors must be opened for him, someone to run with him every morning--and, please, a route with NO stops at intersections.
--ABC's Martha Raddatz tweets: "Official says people who knew Petraeus got anon harassing emails. Investigation started. Traced to Broadwell."
--NY Post classic at left. I expected "Putting the Ass in Classified."
--No update yet? Tbe letter everyone is talking about--to NYT
ethics columnist Chuck Klosterman (it's the second one) last summer
that sounds, to some, like it might have come from Paula Broadwell's
husband. I think not--unless hubby fudged some of descriptions--but
pretty damn interesting. Klosterman's reply: "I halfway suspect you’re writing this letter because you want specific
people to read this column and deduce who is involved and what’s really
going on behind closed doors (without actually addressing the conflict
in person). That’s not ethical, either."
Note: My e-book on Obama-Romney race

the contest right up to Election Night and the aftermath, and includes over 500 clickable

IF you're saying the husband found out and was blackmailing someone and it's true, I suggest the husband hire a bodyguard. ;)
