Pro Footballer in Murder-Suicide

A fourth-year Kansas City Chiefs played apparently murdered his girlfriend, then took his own life near Arrowhead Stadium--after meeting with coaches.  His identity was first withheld, but now he has been IDed as linebacker Jovan Belcher.  That's his picture at left.  He's from West Babylon on Long Island and has played in every game for the Chief for the past four seasons.  He shot himself in his car with a handgun. 

He and his girlfriend had a three-month-old daughter, who is now an orphan.  Jesus.

The Chiefs have a game at Arrowhead tomorrow that is now in some doubt.
