In heated debate last night, Rep. Keith Ellison calls Sean Hannity "immoral" and "the worst excuse for a journalist" and even--a "Republican."

There's no love lost between Ellison and right-wing firebrands. Back in 2006, when ellison was first elected to Congress, he annbounced that he would take the Oath of Office on a Koran and not a Bible. Professional bigot and self-styled intellectual Dennis Prage stated that it was wrong for him to do so, that the AMERICAN WAY was to swear on a book concocted eons ago in the Middle East! I have no information as to how Prager reacted when a Hindu and also a Buddhist were elected to Congreess from Hawaii. Praeger's show hasn't been heard in Boston for years.
Yes, there IS a Conservative Party in New York State where Cementhead apparently lives. It's not unusual however for the "candidates" of the "Conservative Party" in NY to appear on the ballot as the same candidates as the Republican Part. The "Conservative Party" candidates for President & VP in 2008 were Senator McCranky and the Shaman-blessed half-ternm Governator of Alaska.

WTF is a registered "conservative"? Does that option actually exist anywhere?
