It's been called "Skeetgate" and Jon Stewart
did a fun segment the other night on media and GOP obsession with the president's claim that yes he has fired a gun, in fact, he shoots skeet at Camp David "all the time." (Bill Maher last night basically repeated a Stewart joke about this being just what the millions who already hate Obama need--a picture of a black man firing a long gun.) Critics dared the White House to post a photo. And now...they have (left).

It's not a rifle, it's a shotgun (and a nice one, too). One doesn't shoot skeet with a rifle.
