In an email to Fox's Chad Pergram, Reidy explained that Holy Spirit instructed her to deliver the outburst: "For the past two and a half weeks, the Holy Spirit has been waking me up in the middle of the night and preparing me (through my reluctance and doubt) to deliver a message in the House Chamber. That is what I did last night." Her husband Dan said in a separate email, “My wife is a sweet, level-headed wonderful woman of God. I am proud of her."Earlier: After the House finally voted to end the shutdown tonight, a longtime staffer, who had been acting as a stenographer of the proceedings, tooks to the dais an started shouting into the microphone about this not being a nation under God, and never was, and something about he Freemasons, and so on, before being dragged away.
