9/11 Memorial Gift Shop Even Cheesier Than We Thought

Update:  Wall St. Journal reports that victims' families  will now be consulted about what's to be sold.  Does the cheese plate remain?

Earlier: Somehow the New York Post and others missed this item (uncovered by the Gothamist):  a cheese play in the shape of the USA with stars to mark the attacks in NY, D.C. and PA.  Fun for jokes (Bush's preparation for terror attacks was filled with holes like Swiss cheese, etc.) but the crass commercialism is no laughing matter.  Some observers have lamely point out that there are gift shops at nearly every other serious memorial, but in my experience none are as tasteless as this one--and few others are built on top of ground where hundreds if not thousands are still buried.
